Design Museum Brussels - the rag chair is made of old fabrics and clothes strapped with metal tape. Based on recycled materials, this creation imagined in 1991, was ahead of its time and already responded to a concern for ecology and announced the advent of do-it-yourself style. Designed by Dutch ‘green’ designer, Tejo Remy, is a one of a kind, fully customizable chair made up of old clothing. The chair is now designed for Droog, which is a design company based in the Netherlands. You can send in your own clothes for the design or you can allow the company to use their own.
